So, in this article, we will provide you with home maintenance tips to extend the life of your appliances and home furniture, save your budget, and ensure your safety and that of your family as well.

Simple home maintenance

There are some simple maintenance works that you can do with ease, and that will help you preserve your home and your money, including:

  • Hair falling while showering or washing hair is one of the main causes of toilet drain blockages. Put a strainer in the sink and sink of the bathroom to prevent hair from passing into the drain pipes.
  • Getting rid of the remnants of used oil or fat by pouring it into the sink is one of the main causes of clogging the sink, so be careful not to get rid of oil and fat in this way. Use hot water to get rid of oil and grease stuck in drainpipes. Pour hot water into the sink and then dishwashing liquid. Repeat these steps as often as needed.
  • After you finish using electrical appliances, such as microwaves, electric heaters, kettles, dishwashers, and the like, unplug the power supply from the appliance, and wipe the appliance with dry cloth from the outside so as not to damage it.
  • Change the batteries of home appliances periodically, such as heater batteries, remote controls, watches, etc., because the presence of batteries inside these devices for a long time leads to damage.
